Instructions for installation of oil-free bearings
1. It should be determined whether the mating surface of the shaft and the shaft shell has bumps, protrusions, etc.
2. Whether there is dust or casting sand attached to the surface of the bearing shell.
3. Even if it is a slight bruise, protrusion, etc., if there is any, it should be removed with an oil grinding stone or fine sandpaper.
4. In order to avoid bumps during installation, a small amount of lubricating oil should be applied to the surface of the shaft and shaft housing. When the bearing is mounted on the shaft, the force must be applied to the inner ring, and when the bearing is mounted on the bearing shell, the force must be applied to the outer ring. When applying force to the bearing, it is important to pay attention to making the force vertical and even, as a bias will inevitably injure the bearing. For this reason, try to avoid bias as much as possible.
5. The retainer and sealing plate of oil-free bearing bearings should also be absolutely unforced. The installation method of using iron hammer and casing is a common method, because it will damage the bearing, so it must not be directly beaten. I put the sleeve in the middle and knock it in. The hammer should be tapped lightly. In the structure of the machine, when the inner and outer rings are tightly fitted, the backing plate should be used, and the force must be added to the inner and outer rings at the same time to press into it. If it is pressed only in the inner ring, the force will be pressed into the outer ring by the ball, so it will cause scars on the track surface. When a bearing with a large margin is mounted on a shaft, the bearing is heated to 80 ~ 90 degrees Celsius in clean oil to expand the inner diameter to mount the bearing.
6. The hardness of the bearing is reduced due to overheating, so it must not exceed 100 degrees. At this time, the bearing must be suspended with steel wire, or placed on the wire platform, the support plate, and must not be placed at the bottom of the groove. When the bearing reaches the desired temperature (below 100 degrees), it should be taken out of the groove immediately, quickly put into the shaft, the bearing will shrink with the temperature drop, sometimes between the shaft shoulder and the bearing end face, there will be a gap, therefore, need to use tools, the bearing is pressed in the direction of the shaft.
